Hello Family and Friends...Time is going by so quickly. My sweet precious baby is turning 6 months old next week. Samuel is sitting up and will soon be crawling after Isaac and Makenna. He just began eating rice cereal. He is such a happy little guy and easy to please. Isaac is participating in Bible Quizzing- a group that learns the bible and memorizes scripture and competes against 200 kids every 8 weeks answering various questions from the study, which is Genesis this year. He really enjoys it and meets with the group twice a week. He also has Royal Rangers which is his church boys group and equivalent to boy scouts. There they do fun activities while learning God's word. Makenna goes to her church group too which happens Wednesday nights. Isaac is playing soccer for the second year and continues to LOVE it. He is so energetic that a running sport is great for him. He is quite the athlete. He has games twice a week. Makenna just began ballet. She is such a wonderful dancer and is quite pleased to finally have dance class. The min. age is 4 so she had to wait a year as she just had her birthday last week. On top of all the outside activities we continue to homeschool which is going well. We are learning world history- currently studying the greeks and some greek mythology. What weird stories!

David and I have been doing house maintenance this summer. My step dad came over for a week (bless his soul) and replace some of our old windows and some of our rotted siding! We primed and painted the outside of the house. What work. I really did enjoy renting...more than I realized anyway. Next year we hope to re-do our front yard with my dad's help of course and get new wood laminate flooring in the kitchen and dining room. We'll see.

Well...we are keeping busy...but never too busy for visitors. Hope to have family and/or friends over soon. We miss everyone lots! Steph

Welcome Samuel David to the world!!!!

Join us in celebrating our third child, Samuel David Collins was born at 9:45pm 4-4-07 at St.Elizabeth's Hospital in Baker City, OR. Everything went really well, we went to hospital at 7:15pm and were home the next day at 2pm!! Steph and Sam are both doing great and the kids are doing really well with the baby. Isaac and Makenna like to hold the little guy all the time. He was 6lbs. 7oz, so he's a little squirt but he is full of life and energy, and his lungs work great.
